FAQs
We came together because we saw an opportunity to serve clients in a more connected and intentional way — combining deeper expertise, broader resources, and stronger national coordination while preserving the personal, hands-on approach that has defined each company for decades.
Avera gives our clients the scale and capability of a national organization while keeping decisions close to the work, the client, and the people delivering the event.
Avera brings together:
- Proshow Audiovisual — Vancouver and Calgary
- Bespoke Audio Visual — Toronto and Ottawa
- Expert’ease (XPAV) — Montreal, Drummondville, and Quebec City
Together, we operate across seven Canadian markets with a shared commitment to thoughtful planning, technical excellence, and exceptional client service.
Avera gives us the ability to share expertise and resources across regions, strengthen logistics and equipment availability, support multi-market events more seamlessly, and bring specialized talent to projects when needed.
The people who know your business and your events remain at the centre of your experience.
Your existing account, project, and production relationships remain in place. The people who know your events, expectations, and organization will continue to work with you.
Over time, you may see additional Avera team members supporting projects where their expertise adds value. That is an expansion of capability, not a replacement of existing relationships.
Yes.
Effective September 8, 2026, our team will transition to Avera email addresses using the following format:
firstname.lastname@averaAV.ca
You do not need to take any action with existing email addresses. Legacy Proshow, Bespoke, and XPAV addresses will continue to work and will automatically route messages to the correct person.
Updating your contact book is helpful, but there is no urgency. Over time, new correspondence and replies from our team will simply begin appearing from Avera email addresses.
Existing events, contracts, pricing, and commercial commitments remain in place.
The legal amalgamation of the three companies was completed on July 1, 2026, but that administrative change does not alter the commitments we have already made to our clients.
Your project team, scope, and agreed terms remain the same unless we discuss and agree to changes with you directly.
Yes.
We originally anticipated continuing the legacy brands into Q2 2027. However, the response from both our teams and the market has been overwhelmingly positive, with strong support for moving forward as one unified organization.
As a result, we have accelerated our timeline.
Effective September 8, 2026, the Proshow, Bespoke, and Expert’ease (XPAV) brands will begin transitioning fully to Avera Audiovisual across our website, email, communications, and other brand touchpoints.
The names are changing, but the people, relationships, experience, and regional expertise behind them remain very much part of Avera.
While we are making a concerted effort to transition to Avera, some elements of the legacy brands will naturally remain visible for a period of time. You may continue to see legacy branding on equipment and cases, and legacy-branded clothing will be phased out across our team over the coming months. These are practical parts of the transition and will gradually give way to Avera as equipment is refreshed and new materials are introduced.
While the Avera name is relatively new, the work behind the transition has been underway for many months. Leadership teams, operational groups, and integration committees have been aligning systems, processes, and standards well in advance of the September 8 brand transition.
Our goal is for the change to feel straightforward from a client perspective: the same trusted people, now working together as one national team.
Depending on the project, this can include expanded support in areas such as lighting, scenic and staging, content development, creative services, webcasting, broadcast and hybrid production, large-scale technical production, and venue-based event support.
It also gives us greater flexibility to bring the right people and resources to a project regardless of where they are based.
The goal is not to make every office identical. It is to ensure that every region benefits from the strongest practices, knowledge, and expertise available across Avera.
For clients, that means greater consistency, deeper technical support, and access to specialized expertise when needed.
Yes.
The legal amalgamation of the three companies into Avera Audiovisual was completed on July 1, 2026.
Clients and vendors who pay Avera or are paid by Avera may need to update their records to reflect our new corporate registration, tax information, and payment details.
Where updates are required, we will provide the appropriate documentation and instructions directly.
These changes are administrative and do not affect your current projects, service, or day-to-day working relationships.
Local and regional leadership remain an important part of Avera.
Ownership continues to be actively involved in the business across our regions, and clients remain close to the people responsible for making decisions and delivering their work.
Avera also has a national leadership structure designed to strengthen collaboration, align standards, and support the company across Canada.
That national structure complements local leadership rather than replacing it.
September 8 represents an important milestone: from that point forward, we will increasingly present ourselves to the market simply as Avera Audiovisual.
Behind the scenes, our work continues.
We will continue integrating systems, aligning operational processes, sharing best practices, strengthening national standards, and making it easier for clients to access Avera’s full capabilities across Canada.
The brand transition is accelerating, but the work of building a truly integrated national company will continue thoughtfully over time.
If you have questions specifically about Avera, the merger, or what the transition means for your organization, your team can also connect you directly with a member of Avera’s leadership.
We welcome those conversations and are happy to help make the transition as clear and straightforward as possible.
