Formed through the merger of Proshow Audiovisual in the west, Bespoke Audio Visual in central Canada, and XPAV in the east, Avera was created to offer something the Canadian market has needed for a long time: a nationally capable AV partner with strong regional roots, local accountability, and one shared standard of excellence.

These seven leaders from Proshow Audiovisual, Bespoke Audio Visual, and Expert’ease joined to launch Avera Audiovisual, a national audiovisual company that will bring their operations together to better serve clients coast to coast while preserving the character, leadership, and relationships that defined each founding company.
The Avera Name
The name Avera was created to express both who we are and the industry we serve.
At its centre is vera, derived from the Latin word for true, real and genuine. These ideas reflect the company Avera intends to be: authentic in its relationships, grounded in integrity and accountable for the commitments we make.
The addition of the letter A transforms a familiar word into something distinctively our own. Within the name, AV provides a subtle nod to the audiovisual industry and the expertise that brought our founding companies together.
Avera is more than a new name. It is a promise to build something true—to our people, to our clients and to the future we are creating together.
